Charity Challenge

The Fred Smith Company Foundation annually hosts the Charity Challenge to raise money for the Children and Communities of Johnston County. The Charity Challenge is annually organized and executed by Fred Smith Company employees who give up their free time to make a difference in their community. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the Charity Challenge benefit these charities. The funds collected go toward facilities and learning tools such as computer labs, resource materials, playground equipment, and cultural arts instruction in the schools. The Fred Smith Company Foundation has also built four Habitat homes in Johnston County.

Charities contributed to in the past are:
Johnston County Artists-in-the-Schools
Johnston County Habitat for Humanity
Johnston County Disabled Veterns
Riverwood Elementary & Middle Schools
