Fred Smith Company is pleased to announce that the company was
the recipient of three Gold MAME (Major Achievements in Marketing
Excellence) Awards at the recently held 2002 MAME event, presented
by the Triangle Sales & Marketing Council of the Home Builders
Associations of Raleigh-Wake and Durham & Orange Counties.
The Triangle MAME Awards mirror the National Sales & Marketing
Council's Nationals, which have established themselves as the
Academy Awards of new homes sales and marketing. Exceptional advertising,
merchandising, product design and sales efforts are recognized
at this event, having been judged by sales and marketing leaders
from across the country.
Fred Smith, President of Fred Smith Company,
was presented with the industry's most coveted award, Developer
of the Year for the significant accomplishments and contributions
he has made in real estate development over the past calendar
year. Additionally, Fred Smith Company was honored with Gold Awards
in the following categories: Best Selection Center for the Fred
Smith Company Selection Center located in Riverwood Athletic Club;
and Best Product Design for a Single Family Detached Home Under
1,500 Square Feet Heated for The Charleston, at Riverwood Athletic
Club, designed by Mary Metcalf.
